This speaker's sound quality is some of the best I've heard, and for the price, ridiculous. They are like the OnePlus of bluetooth speakers making quality, feature packed speakers at an affordable price.
*Keep in mind the battery life of the speaker suffers greatly if you have the X Bass button on.*
Someone at work recommended this speaker. We have a Bose soundlink and the bass on this if far better. Do not have to put near a wall to get the excellent sound and my husband is extremely happy with this purchase.
What a great speaker! I bought this to replace a speaker that my daughter had lost - the other speaker was more expensive, but this speaker sounds much better all around! Great price! Great Product! You can't go wrong with this one!
These are both outstanding speakers, but which one is better? It is immediately evident that both speakers are better than the Flip 4 or UE Boom 3. Frankly, the bass and soundstage of both speakers is astonishing for the price. These speakers play crisp and clear right up to maximum vole. Real bass from both. And these speakers compete well against the Bose soundlink mini II and Denon DSB speakers in terms of clarity and overall musicality. Rock, jazz, vocals, rap, classical, country, and pretty much all music sounds terrific on both speakers. Both are extremely well built and look good. Both are easy to operate. So, after playing both, side by side for a couple of hours across all types of music, some small differences become apparent. The MaxSound plays a bit louder. The X-Boom has a wider soundstage due to way it is built. It also sounds best standing up, on its end. The MaxSound edges out the X-Boom when you lie the X-Boom on its side. Other than that, well they are both really impressive and about the same. I give a slight edge to the X-Boom because it is more rugged and has a wider soundstage. But if you want an indoor speaker that is subtle looking but has rich, clear sound, well the MaxSound is really just as good. Take your pick, you can't go wrong with either one. If you are in the market for a bluetooth speaker under $200, these Tribit speakers can go toe to toe with the best Bose, Denon, JBL, Beats and others have to offer. And the price is unbeatable. Both are highly recommended.
Spectacular sound for a portable speaker. Heard about the x boom on The Wirecutter, and they were right. Easy to charge, easy to connect to, water resistant. I appreciate the simplicity of the button layout. Definitely recommended for someone who needs good sound quality on a mid range budget.
