pairing is fairly easy, other than that I wasn't too happy with them. Noise cancelling is bad, the sound is similar to listening to a radio with the treble all the way up and the bass all the way down. These might be good if you are listening to audio books, podcasts etc. I would not recommend these for listening to music.
I was very excited to get these, as I am a Tribit fan and own and love the Tribit XBoom. However, after an hour with these I was kicking myself for selling my old wireless earbuds. The grass is NOT always greener.
Issues: 1) Connectivity. While these did connect to my phone (Google Pixel 2XL) effortlessly, problems soon arose. I listened to music easily when I first got them, but then drove to the store, and that's when the problems started. When I paired them up in my car, while my phone said they were connected (see picture), music still played from my phone. Weirder, the multi-function button on the phone still worked -- I could pause music and skip forward, but could not get it to play through the earbuds.
I went through the normal motions; turning Bluetooth off and on; restarting my phone; unpairing and re-pairing; putting them back in their case to charge for a minute. Nothing worked. Each time, it would pair up, but music played from my phone.
2) The advertised "Wide 33ft connection range" is just a flat-out lie. These have, at best, a 10-foot connection range -- at best! In many situations, far less than that. When on my kitchen counter, they start breaking up in the hallway -- 5 feet away! My old wireless earbuds would keep playing if my phone was downstairs and I ran upstairs to get something. These? Mayyyyyybe 10 feet.
I contacted Amazon chat support the first night, as there's no way I plan on keeping these, and I'm in the process of getting a replacement. The reason I'm writing a review BEFORE the replacement gets here, is I believe with 99% certainty the replacement will act the same way. However, if they do not, I will amend this review.
